Elon Musk: Space Travel Will Be Cheaper Than $1M In The Future!

Elon Musk aims to be the world’s commercial space travel provider in the future with SpaceX’s Starship as the vessel of choice, bringing people to a City on Mars with less than $1 million in costs. The SpaceX CEO thinks that the Starship is the best-suited spacecraft to perform several month’s long travels to the Red Planet with human passengers.

The Californian aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services, SpaceX, would soon bring humans to space, particularly on the planet right next to the Earth, using the revolutionary Starship line-up. Elon Musk plans to be the pinnacle of commercial space transport in the several years to come.

Elon Musk: Space Travel Costs in the Future Would Be Cheaper

SpaceX’s CEO, Elon Musk, brought to Twitter his space travel fantasies and outrageous plan to be Mars’ first citizen and leader. In a thread, Musk replied to Everyday Astronaut (@Erdayastronaut), who compiled all Soviet rocket engines, agreeing and sharing the same fascination to the ship component.

The thread continued until another Twitter user asks if SpaceX’s Starship would continue its plans to charge less than $1.5 million for a single space launch from the company. Elon Musk (@elonmusk) confirms that $500 thousand would already be for fuel alone, and the rest would be for the marginal launch costs.

The price would already cover more than 100 tons to orbit, and if commercial space travel were to exist, that would be the prices to expect. However, another Twitter user expresses his interest in SpaceX Starship’s future.

Elon Musk: SpaceX is Designed for A Multiplanetary Life; City on Mars Next Destination

Twitter user Peter Hague (@peterrhague) asks Elon Musk about the “biggest unanswered question” in the space industry. The question refers to the future of space exploration in the ten years to come. The Twitter user quoted Musk’s tweet, asking what to do with the information.

The SpaceX CEO replied that life is designed to be multi-planetary, and SpaceX would be the center of that future possibility. However, there would be a massive obstacle awaiting the company, and according to Elon Musk, it would be the mass to orbit per year.

Elon Musk also teases a city on Mars, something which the CEO initially hinted on one of his statements as he expresses his interest in The Red Planet. Furthermore, Elon Musk’s SpaceX is already a launch partner and spacecraft manufacturer of NASA’s Commercial Crew, one of the pioneer efforts to commercial space transport in the near future.
