Briefing on the 2020 Silicon Valley Index

Silicon Valley leaders gathered on February 14, 2020 for the 16th-annual State of the Valley conference. Russell Hancock, Joint Venture’s President and CEO, provided a comprehensive briefing of the data contained in the 2020 edition of the Silicon Valley Index, produced by Joint Venture’s Institute for Regional Studies. Hancock emphasizes that, “…the most prodigious regional economy in the history of regional economies,” is tempered by income inequality, homelessness, and impossible transportation woes.
